Ilmat ovat alkaneet jo kevään myötä lämmetä, mutta televisiota katsotaan edelleen tiiviisti. Niin uutislähetykset kuin viihdeohjelmatkin keräävät joka ilta suuren osan kansasta tv-vastaanottimien ääreen.

Vedonlyöntiyhtiö Mr Green päätti tehdä television katselusta hieman viihdyttävämpää ja jännittävämpää, sillä nyt tiettyjen ohjelmien katsojamääristä voi lyödä vetoa.

Vedonlyöjät pääsevät puntaroimaan, saavatko ohjelmat esityspäivänään enemmän vai vähemmän katsojia, kuin mitä kohteeseen on määritelty. Tv-ohjelmien katsojaluvuissa on ollut kevään mittaan melko suuriakin heilahteluja, joten niiden ennustaminen on jännittävää puuhaa.

Esimerkiksi Masked Singer Suomi -ohjelman vedenjakajana toimii vetokohteessa yli tai alle 950 000 katsojaa. Ohjelma keräsi viime lauantaina 1 037 000 katsojaa, mutta edellisenä lauantaina 927 000. Parhaimmillaan naamioidut laulajat ovat keränneet 1 085 000 katsojaa. Laskevatko vai nousevatko luvut tänä lauantaina, kun kisassa ovat vielä mukana Ampiainen, Heinäseiväs, Kana, Kisu, Peacock ja Leijona?

Jaakko Saariluoman isännöimän Suurmestarin kolmas jakso sai viime sunnuntaina 580 000 katsojaa, kun sarjan aloittanut tuplajakso keräsi televisioiden ääreen 698 000 silmäparia, joten spekuloitavaa riittää, kun ohjelman rajapyykkinä toimii 600 000. Jatkavatko luvut laskuaan, vai houkutteleeko tämän viikon vieras Minka Kuustonen enemmän katsojia kuin viime viikon Jorma Uotinen?
