Vuonna 1992 MTV3:lla esitettiin 17 jaksoa sketsisarjaa nimeltä Manitbois ja sen päätähtinä häärivät Aake Kalliala ja Pirkka-Pekka Petelius sekä ohjauksesta vastasi Hannu Seikkula.
Sarja oli huippusuosittu ja se sai parhaimillaan 1,3 miljoonaa katsojaa, eikä ihme, sillä sen näyttelijäkaksikko on kertakaikkiaan vain niin kivenkova. Sanottakoon vielä se, että heidän aikaisempi tuotos Pulttibois on kiistatta suomikomiikan parhammistoa.
